Brasil meets Jamaica ina rough dub style

Based in Sao Paulo, sound engineer Buguinha Dub is one of the big names on the Brasilian dub scene.

With “Vitrola Adubada” he brings us a new dub album that blends Jamaica, Brasil and more in a unique way. Most of the dubs on “Vitrola Adubada” originate  from the recordings that Buguinha Dub made with Brasilian reggae, dancehall, samba and afrobeat musicians. There’s a rough feel to these dubs, especially with the addition of some old school analog effects and a big slice of madness. The result is unique and fascinating. Just the way we love our dubs!

“Vitrola Adubada” is released on netlabel Les Cristaux Liquident. You can download the album from their site. Below you can listen to “Fino da massa 1″.

By the way, if you want to hear more dub made in Brasil, go check out the new Cannabits netlabel. They recently released volume 2 of the Pac-o-Mania sampler.
